Her mother had died a few hours after childbirth due to her loss of blood. Her mother was a witch. A powerful one. She passed on her gifts to her child, who gladly accepted them. She lived with her grandmother growing up. Farrow used to walk around in the field were she lived when she was younger. She made a little shack that she could retreat to when she needed some time to herself. She loved to ride horses. She played rugby but then she gave up for tennis. She played cello and piano. She loved those instruments to death.
They lived in San Francisco for as long as she could remember. She loved the house they lived in. It was big enough for them to live in. She has a brother named Manis, who is her twin!They have always been close. Manis has inherited some of their mother's powers but they both inherited their father's powers. Those were powers they did not want. Their father was a Warlock. He had some powers which neither had wanted. Her grandmother loved to each her new things when it came to making potions. She told her that she had a knack for potion making.
Manis also lived with them. It was hard for them to ever be apart from each other. Manis loves to plat sports. She plays sports too but not as actively as he does. Ever since they were little kids, Ravenna has be trying to teach them another language. He picked up on French quickly, while she picked up on Italian quickly. Her grandmother and grandfather had both been great "parents". Ravenna helped her through the tough times. Her grandfather taught her first spell, given it was lost and found spell which open up Pandora's box, since they had lost a lot of things over time. Manis and Farrow especially. this is something i thought people would just like to read.
Her alarm screamed at her at 7 am. She was lucky this year that she was able to get classes that didn't start at the crack of dawn. Den rubbed her eyes and sat up in bed. She yawned as she shuffled to the bathroom. Her brother Blake and her shared a bathroom. It was fine since they had a double sink. and didn't have to overlap or share a sink. She locked the door and turned on the sink. She splashed her face with some cold water. She looked into the mirror.
Her eyes fell onto something reflected which laid on the floor. It was a hidden athame. Well it was hidden. Every since a warlock attacked their grandmother in the bathroom, she has been convinced that their need to be more hidden athames in every nook and cranny she could get her hands on. Soon, Blake was able to convince her that they didn't need that many in the house when he almost stabbed himself with one when he went for some extra toilet paper.
Den washed herself and went back into her room. She dressed herself and grabbed her bag. She had mythology today at 9 and she didn't live too far from the University. She had stayed home this weekend. It kept her away from the parties which were occurring. She knew her roommates would drag her to one and she would be up half the night trying to finish her homework. Ravie wasn't up yet so she walked out the door with no breakfast. She would pick something up on the way.
She was five minutes away from the campus when she heard a scream. She ran in the direction of it. A demon was attacking a young witch. She didn't look any older than 14. "Hey! You! Pick on someone your own size." The demon turned. And the young witch smiled. They both started to laugh. Den was confused. The demon went into another form, human. When they had both calmed down they explained that they were good and were practicing. When they left, she power walked to the campus, just making it to her class. Her dormmate, Marie, started talking about the party she had gone to the night before. Sometimes, she missed high school.
