Brandi sighed, and glanced out the window. Far below her, she could see the black shapes that were her fellow students. However lately she seemed not to be connected to any of them.
"stupid," she muttered to herself, adusting her position on the window seat, arms wrapped around knees. "What do you expect? Just to show up again and everyone is still there waiting?"
"Nonsense, no one waits." Her voice was feeling choked up now, so Brandi just closed her eyes against any tears that would escape. She hated emotions like this. She would rather feel anger then sadness any day. Tears made her feel weak and she hated weakness in herself.
