Jade held her broom close. Just one flight before this month's full moon and she would be satisfied. She made her way to the center of the field and looked up into the rainy skies. She was soaked and chilled to the bone, but she didn't care. Pretty soon, she was going to change into a wolf with deep russett red fur. She mounted her broom and took off, mud splattered everywhere from her take off.

Veer looked at the heavy rainfall before he stepped out of the castle. The clouds covered the sky and the chilly sheets of water poured down. Soon, he was soaked when he reahced the Quidditch pitch. Veer had this sudden desire to try flying his broomstick during the rain, but he was surprised when he reached there and saw another figure flying in the air already. He mounted his broomstick and took off. "Hello," he tried to wave and call over the heavy wind.

Jade's acute sense of hearing could pick up his voice over the wind and it sounded as if he was standing right beside her. "Hey!' she yelled out to him. She was happy, it eased the nervousness of her close transformation to fly with another person.

Veer smiled glad that his voice had not been lost in the heavy wind. It was hard to see through the heavy rainfall and he had squint his eyes. He wished he knew a charm to keep off the rain. But then where was the real fun of rain? "Weather isn't too bad, is it?" he joked.

Jade flew over by him and smiled. Her eyesight was perfect. It was always better on the full moon. "No, not at all, I'd say it was quite perfect flying weather," she said to him, leaning a bit on her broom.

"No, not at all, I'd say it was quite perfect flying weather," Veer chuckled. He was soaked and freezing in the rain water, but enjoyign flying nevertheless. He just hoped he would not miss the direction as the rain was blurring everything, and end up hitting a tree or something. "I wish the rest of the team would have thought so and joined," Veer said with a shrug.
