Half an hour after closing, Harley stood at the the top of the zoo's iron gate. She hadn't even given into her thirst for days, trying to prove that she can handle this lifestyle. But to who? Cooper? Her human family or herself? She didn't know. That wild look was glinted in her eye as she viewed the cages separating the animals from herself. They were nothing compared to her strength now.
The power that she now held, it was starting to go to her head as was the strength and speed. Harley almost wanted to thank Stephen for giving this to her... Almost. She leapt down from the gate and landed nimbly inside the zoo. "Mindless mortals, as if a lock could keep me out," she muttered softly with a smirk on her face. Her bare feet made no sound as she moved into the center of the zoo.

Alex had herself balanced atop the thick tall fence surrounding the wolves pen. Sometimes, she liked to stay after hours at the zoo, watching the animals in the dark. To see them like no other visitor had. Their habbits, their social exchanges, and everything. She wondered briefly what it might have been like to see them in the wild. That would have been wonderful, she thought. Not only would they be free, but to know them like no one else would be amazing. The wolves didn't react to her being there, but she knew they were aware of her. She knew that even though the wild had been taken away from them, it would always be a part of them. Some animals can never be tamed. Alex knew very well that whatever gaurds remained at night wouldn't hit that area of the park for awhile. Gaurds were incredibly predictable. She knew where to hide in the park, so she could stay late. A few times she had been caught, and she knew that they wouldn't fall for the "I got lost" excuse again. Maybe she'd say that she got trappled, and woke up disoriented? That one sounded fun, she could act confused and everything. She grinned at the thought.

((Sorry it took so long, I've been really busy))
The smells were hitting her. Maybe a bear might quench her thirst. She climbed up the fence and was making her way to animal's sleeping quarters when a burst of wind came through and she smelled a human in the grounds. A smile formed on her face as she turned her back on the animal and jumped the fence again. She licked her lips as a flashlight was shined on her. A guard.
It was nothing. She moved so quickly, sinking her teeth into his skin before he could even scream. A sharp sound emitted from his mouth before her hand covered it. Within a minute he was dead, Harley made sure of that. She wiped the blood from her mouth and sniffed the air, the scent was still there and she was following it.

Alex overheard the sharp noise comming rather close behind her. For some reason, she didnt' think it was an animal. Her eyes narrowed, going through possibilities. Maybe a gaurd tripped? that one was likely. A few had terrible balance, and walked funny. Another tended to walk into anything. It sounded close. Probably a gaurd on their way to the Wolf pin. She scaled down the side of the fence. Not to the clear and clean-cut path, but to the side which held the wolves. When she hit the rocky portion, she stopped. She would hide out there, until they moved on. They were usually terrible when it came to looking for intruders that late at night. The combination of boredom, tiredness, and overall uncaring tended to make them so.

Getting closer to the wolves, Harley's nose was filled with the mortal's scent. It was mouth watering and she felt nothing more than what was caged up in the pens. An animal, but she was smarter and not quite as extravagent as an animal when it came to hunting. She didn't create as much of a mess and less noise was used when she fed. They were messy and careless, she was sophisticated.
She stopped at the fence leading standing between her and the wolves. "Hiding with the wolves eh?" she asked softly, her voice barely audible. Within a sceond, she was on top of the fence balanced perfectly looking down.

Alex looked up by chance, and her eyes widened. A girl had balanced herself on the fence with such ease Alex almost felt jelous. Almost. Something was off, and she knew it. That girl up there shouldn't be there. She shouldn't be balancing like she was on normal ground.Too many things were off. Alex's eyes narrowed, and she jumped. Falling quickly to the ground, she ran to the wolves first. Wolves were easier to deal with at the moment then a questionable girl as silly as it might sound. Alex dug into her pocket, and cursed as she found her wand was gone. When the wolves were found, Alex climbed into a nearby tree. She wondered briefly if the girl would follow her. Or who would find poor Alex in a tree? Or carcus, she thought as she looked down at the growling wolves.

Oh this felt good, it even made Harley smile even a twinge. She jumped down into the pen and the wolves looked at her waringly, even approaching her. Though when she turned her head towards them they backed away whimpering as if afraid. She chuckled and made her way to the tree. "Hmmm, you look like you don't belong here," she said in a slightly dangerous voice.

Alex's eyes narrowed, and her smart mouth got the better of her, "Gee, ya think? No, I'm half tree." She snarled. She glared in annoyance. This girl was crazier than she thought! And the wolves were scared of her to boot. Ofcourse, out of all the girls this could happen to, Alex just HAD to be there. She almost wanted to pout. She then realized her life might be in jepordy. 'Well... that comment might kill me.' Alex thought to herself, but she didn't back down. If she did, she'd be a chicken for sure, and either way she'd be dead.

"Hmm, what is that? Sarcasm?" Harley asked as she looked at the young mortal with her deep crimson eyes. She stepped closer to the tree. "Maybe I should just feed you to the wolves, but then what satisfaction would I get?" She reached out and with a single fingernail, she cut through the bark.

Alex didn't like to admit she was scared. She was a gyrphondor! No time to be scared! She had to get away, and run. Just keep running. That.... thing. that girl would get tired eventually. She took a deep breath, and focused. The wolves once again were in her mind, thankfully she brought her 'toy'. Alex inched away, all the while sticking her hand in her back pocket, retreiving a small silver dog whistle. The noise the whistle would make would hopefully confuse the surounding canines, and she'd be just fine. Suddenly, Alex snapped back, jumping off of the tree, and fell to the ground. She blew hard into the whistle, running to the fences. Years of self defence lessons and gymnastics were about to pay off as she scaled the imposing rock and fence. Adrenalin coarsed through her as she made her get away. She was not going to die!
(You know, I shouldn't be as amused as I am with Alex's possible death comming up..... I'm terrible xD )

(Lol) "Ooo, a chase what fun," Harley said as she gave the girl about a 2 minute's headstart. Her scent lead a trail, and Harley quickly followed it, scaling the fence in under a second. She loved the speed she had. and quickly, she passed the girl and went ahead about 100 feet and stopped. Her arms were crossed and the look on her face just spelled out the female's fate. 'You know, the funny thing about mortals is, that they are so predictable."

Alex just stared. She couldn't help it. "You're like an evil Supergirl, blond hair and all." Alex told her numbly, and she blinked for a moment. And then Alex finally let out a sigh, and collapsed to the floor. It would have been a waste to try and fight. Although Karate taught that power wasn't everything, the girl had the agility to keep up with any punch Alex could throw, dodge any kick that was brought her way. Alex sat there, and then shook her head. In the end, it didn't matter, did it? She'd have to die one day, why not now? "I give up. Kill me if you want. But, I hope you know, if I become a ghost, I'm sooo gonna haunt you." Alex weakly threatend, she wasn't serious of course. She wasn't the type to hang around after death. She thought it was cowardly.

"I seriously doubt an evil Supergirl. Try a vampire," Harley hissed as she stepped towards the female. "But here's the problem, you are making it way too easy. A half dead deer puts up more of a fight than you." She kneeled down beside her and shook her head. "I wanted a satisfying hunt tonight, not one where the prey gives themselves up to the predator."

Alex shrugged, "Who do I look like? Bambi?" She rolled her eyes, "Listen, Blondie. Life ain't what you want it. Now if you're gonna kill me, then do it. If ya ain't, can ya leave me be? I ain't gonna fight when it's friggin pointless. Tell me, do I got any chance to beat ya? " She bit out, a little out of breath. "Go get Shamu, or somethin', I'm sure he'll fight ya. Maybe that komodo a few cages down. That'll give ya a run for your money." Alex was irritated, out of breath, tired, and just wanted to go home. But nooo, the Vampire Blondie was so dead set into killing her. Only if there was a "fight". Alex was all for a good fight, when the opponent wasn't overpowering. It would be like watching a cougar go after a 3-legged dog. You knew who was gonna win right off the bat.

Harley smiled at the girl's words even chuckling a bit. "Fine, if it is death that you want, then it is death that you get," She said, brushing aside some blonde hair. Her ice cold hands gripped the girl's wrist and as she brought it to her lips, her sharp nails started to dig into the skin and her grip tightened very much so.
(I have a character that can save Alex's life if you want)
