Natural Enemies Playing Nice (Edward)

[Jade Calahan]

Jade explored the greenhouse, a book in her hands. She was studying the plants around her, trying to figure which ones went into one particular potion. She yawned as she looked up at the half moon in the sky through the roof.

No, it was still half a month away and the last full moon didn't go so bad, though she did swear she ate a squirrell in the forest when she was transformed. No need to get antsy, her mother would be making the potion again as usual. Sitting down on the floor, she lit her wand and studied the page even more.

Edward had been looking for a plant in the other greenhouses when he caught scent of a werewolf. He decided he wouldnt judge it for what it was. He walked through the greenhouse towards her quietly. He sat down next to her. "hey what ya reading" he asked politly.

Jade could feel the icyness once he got close to her. Vampire. 'Don't do anything unless they start it, she kept teliing herself in her head the words her father had told her when she came to this school. "I'm trying to figure out a potion," she said as she tried to block his scent by pure will alone.

[Edward Jacobs]

Edward smiled. This werewolf liked potions which was something he was really good at and understood and he enjoyed it extreamly. "cool, potions is one of my favourite subjects" he said smiling at her, "im edward by the way edward jacobs".

[Jade Calahan]

"Jade Calahan," she said as she ran her hands over the list of ingerdients for the potion. "I'm fine and well at potions, but I downright suck at Herbology," she said, standing up and looking around at the plants. "Funny, I never realized a vampire had a great need for potions." The words slipped out of Jade's mouth before she could stop herself. She could have hit herself in the head. She looked over at him. "Sorry, I didn't mean fo it to come out that way."

Edward shook his head. "no its fine really im used to it" he said truthfully, "hmm well im not heaps good at herbology but i can find plants for you if you want, and not many vampires would need knowledge of potions but it does come in handy from massive injuries from some of your kind". He smiled at her.

[Jade Calahan]

"Yeah well, for any injuries from my kind, you can't blame me. The worst I've done when I was transformed was eat a squirrell. So you say that you are good at finding plants? I've been trying to find the plants needed for the Wolfsbane potion. I hate having to rely on my parents to make it for me every month," she said as she looked between him and the plants that surrounded her.

Edward smiled. "hmmm a squirell, they taste awful" he said having experienced it before, "are you serious the wolfsbaner potion, thats easy for me compared to the experiments and remeidal potions that i have cooked up, when do you need it".

[Jade Calahan]

"In about half a month. But I also want to learn how to make it for myself. Like I said, I hate relying on others to do it for me," Jade explained, a surprised look on her face. It wasn't the fact that he was a vampire, it was the fact that he looked so young.

[Edward Jacobs]

Edward smiled. "well how about i make it for you this time with you helping me and that way i can teach you how to make it" he suggested looking up into her face, "im here to help if you want a vampires help".

[Jade Calahan]

"If they'll teach me to make the Wolfsbane potion, I wouldn't care if they were the darkest wizard in the world," Jade said, her face lighting up in hapiness. She smiled at him. She let out a bit of a laugh and shook her head. "This is just too strange."

[Edward Jacobs]

Edward smiled. "well i dont know about dark wizard but yes i will be able to teach you about the wolfsbaine potion" he said laughing, "what is us talking without one snide comment or fight".

[Jade Calahan]

"I think I'll hold back the fact that we are naturally enemies for you to teach me," Jade said, finally spotting one of the plants that was needed. She leaned down and examined it closely, letting the smell fill her nose. She drew back quickly, pinching her nose and waving her hand in front of her. "Ugh, it smells terrible."

Edward laughed. "well not everyone of you werewolves has to attack us when ever you see us" he said smiling, "well of course not all plants smell nice espically not the ones for the wolfsbaine potion". He pulled out his wand and swished it in a slicing motion and it harvested itself instantly before flying into a small jar the edward was holding.
