Pale fingers gripped delicately onto the edge of a stone wall. They held still, while a head popped around, as violent purple eyes searched the darkened alley. It wasn't deserted, few others, even some humans stood around, speaking in hushed voices. The alley itself was decent, no one was on their knees begging for money, nor was there any dark magic floating about. Most of the people were wearing dark attire, but the odd thing was, or at least to the purple eye's of the young woman, was that none of them was who she was searching for.
Isabella wasn't far from Knockturn, you could go down this alley, and turn right, and there you were. She'd expected to be in Knockturn, where else would Alec want to met someone? But, instead he chose here. Diagon Alley, in the evening, when people still roamed around. It was smart if he thought this wouldn't go his way, people would bear witness to it. Isabella didn't need to think much to know that this wasn't Alec's idea. If it had even been him that had sent Kaiden the letter.
Shifting her position, Isabella pulled a hood onto her head, hiding her face from view. The evening held a slight chill, so no one would question it as they had back when the last dark lord had his followers. While doing so, she crouched low, bending her knees down, as if she was kneeling. Moving her head back away from the alley, Isabella took out the letter that had lead her here in the first place. She'd found it on one of Kaiden's owls. She knew she shouldn't of taken it, or even had read it. But she did, then she'd replicated it, and let the owl take the original to Kaiden. It was all basic, stating that an old power was arising, that wanted strong werewolves, so that they could help rebuild the world. Werewolves would receive whatever they desired. Nothing was said about rejecting such an offer, and a time and place was written down. Signed with Alec's insignia, that of an 'X'.
Letting the letter crumble up in her hand, Isabella saw red. Alec hadn't been very smart to do this. She would find out who was behind it, whether or not Kaiden decided to join. She'd even bet Hanna had got an invite too.
