Leonis's strides were long and casual. His footsteps echoing throughout the darkened alley. Vibrating with the beat of his heart. The only noise besides the comfort of his own breath, which came out in steady warm wisps, the coldness of the air having smothered the warmth. Hovering around, before disappearing. Grasping onto his long black cloak, Leonis pulled up the hood, covering his face in shadows. He wasn't about to let himself get spotted, paranoid, maybe a little. But Leonis hadn't survived this long without developing some sort of paranoia. It was healthy to have a little.
The alley, to Leonis's surprise, hadn't changed much. Eleven long years and the dark still had a claim over this part of the world. In the alleys, clubs and bars all over knockturn. He was unsure whether to feel joyful for this or not, considering his Lord had fell, and yet the dark remained. But the alley was useful, as it would be this alley Leonis would find an old friend. Alec. More so acquaintance now, as time does fracture what little relationships you had, especially if you don't send them letters letting them know you were okay. It was irrelevant now though. Leonis was out, he wasn't looking to rebuild old friendships, or even interested in keeping what little he did still have. Leonis was looking for something that could measure up to the chaos his Master had invoked into the hearts of the young and old. Something the magical community needed. A whole lot of change.
Leonie knew where to find Alec, he felt he would make a powerful contribution. The other he was interested in would come on their own free will, if they had managed to figure out just what he had written. Leonis didn't want people turning up that he didn't specify on. He wasn't holding a party. No, Leonis was being smart about this. One wrong thing could potentially risk all his planning.
If anything, Leonis was sure he could trust his resources. He wasn't inclined to let Alec go. The other, he was, as he knew it would be wise on his behalf too. One thing was for sure though, Leonis wasn't going to go anywhere without the knowledge Alec possessed. Even if the last time they had met, he had blown up, acting purely on emotion. Anger. He had to admit, he was lucky he had even managed to track Aelc down. But looking at his surroundings, he knew he would of eventually figured out where Alec decided to hang out. It was the sort of place someone like Alec would venture.
Breathing in, Leonis scanned the rooftops. His light blue eyes shifting through all the possible locations. Before spotting a shadow, it was likely Alec already knew he was being searched for. Leonis wouldn't put it past him.
"You have information I want." Leonis stated casually. Letting his eyes rest upon the roof he knew Alec was currently on. Folding his arms. Leonis let a calm disposition make it's way across his face. Leaving the hood on, just so Alec wouldn't flee, Leonis didn't know how badly their last meeting might of had on him, so it was better to be safe and anonymous for now, and as such the cigarette he had early would cover his scent. Leonis needed this to go well, as he waited for Alec to show himself. While keeping one eye out for the other one, he hoped would come.

It made no sense. The shadowed figure that was currently searching for him below. Him. Alec bared his fangs in irritation. More for the fact that anyone that was trying find him, was succeeding. It was insulting. He wasn't to be made a fool of. Not again. He hadn't yet forgotten the way his mind was open to anything the last time someone had found him. They had taken anything they had wanted. Hidden information that by right no one but him was meant to known, but that didn't stop them. And now somehow, even thought he made sure no one would be able to find him, the figure had. It was getting on his nerves.
Snapping his mouth shut, Alec began grinding his teeth. The annoyance slipping through his calm exterior. As his dark crimson brown eyes followed the movement of the figure. It was easy to think he could just rip the figure's throat out, but something about how they composed themselves made Alec hold himself back. That and he couldn't get a scent off the figure. Like he was hiding it, without magic. Which was smart, and Alec knew of only one other that did that.
"You have information I want."
Alec's eyes widen a fraction. The familiarity of the voice, Alec had not been expecting it. Moving his face downwards, Alec frowned. Shifting from his crouched position, to stand. Already his fingers were caressing the blade previously hidden, now currently in his hands. Ready for anything.
"What you want or need?" Alec replied, raising a questioning eyebrow. As he began to move closer while still being on the roof. Disliking how the male was so familiar, yet he couldn't place it. Not with the hood the male was currently wearing. He needed time to figure it out, and while he knew the male was human, he wasn't going to underestimate him. He also knew, he didn't have the upper hand, he didn't know who this person was, while the male knew who he was. Not something Alec liked, at all.

Leonis laughed. It was far from joyful, more jaded, something which should not even be considered a laugh.
"What I 'want' and 'need', are one and the same," Leonis began, peering up at Alec's silhouette.
"I'd thought, considering your intelligence, you would of known that already," Leonis remarked, as if he was a teacher of sorts. The smirk beneath his hood giving away the fact he was finding it amusing, talking to Alec as if he was but a meer child. That and the fact that Alec was having a hard time identifying who he was. In any other situation Leonis would of played the game a little bit more. Until Alec grew tired and demanded who he was speaking too, but Leonis was already growing tired of it.
He wasn't here to have idle chitchat.
Raising his hand, Leonis glanced from Alec to his fingers. One finger in particular, the middle one that held the Black family ring, making him the Lord of Black. One he was sure Alec would recognise anywhere. A kind of peaceful smile appeared on his lips as he gazed at it.
"..Or has my absence left you without a brain?" Leonis added, knowing Alec would remember the little bout of legilimency that he used in their last meeting. He wasn't exactly careful, and he knew Alec knew that too.

Alec's lips moved into a reserved smile. The comment making him pause and just watch. Scanning the man for any faults. So far, the man was holding himself pretty well, even his breathing was even. Suggesting he wasn't at all afraid of what things Alec was capable of, if given the chance. And Alec would, the man was somebody Alec didn't at all like the company of. He was human, yet he didn't act like one.
Noticing the man's movement, Alec frowned, before glancing at the ring the man held on his middle finger. The ring wasn't the problem here, the owner of the one who owned that ring was.
"Leonis." Alec barely breathed the name. Rapid dislike weaving it's was across his face. Although surprise was evident too. Whatever happened to the man in the past eleven years, Alec was sure made for the dramatic change he could see. It also made the man have nothing to lose, with power Alec felt should be put to something he could use. He was tired of hiding out, just for Leonis to find him whenever he wanted something. Alec was no one's lap dog.
"Clarify what information you want, and I'll see if I feel like giving it to you." Alec wasn't about to play this man's games. But he knew that keeping the man talking was the best way to get him bored. And when people get bored they get lazy.
Shifting his feet, Alec quickly jumped from the roof. Aiming the blade straight at Leonis. He knew he had a fifty-fifty chance of actually doing any damage, he just wanted to make sure he wasn't talking to someone else, after all, he hadn't been Leonis favorite person, before or after he had went to Azkaban. It was still surprising that he would venture out and seek him, after everything he had done. Besides, the last time, Alec didn't even get a glimpse of him, before he was beaten unconscious. He wanted to make sure.

Leonis gave a small smirk at the surprise evident in Alec. He had expected as much, for he had kept quiet about his return. Little was said about his breakout a couple of years ago, probably the ministry denying such a thing could happen again, in the same lifetime as the first breakout from Azkaban. But Leonis knew, the surprise was more for the fact of why he would be wanting to 'talk' with Alec again, not that long after their last talk. Which, resulted in Alec paying the price for targeting Isabella. And Alec paid the price, Painfully.
Yes, Leonis was still quite mad about that, but he was a very forgiving man to a selected few. Alec so happened to be one of those few. Mostly because Leonis saw him as useful. When that ended, then, perhaps, Leonis wouldn't be so forgiving of the past.
"Clarify what information you want, and I'll see if I feel like giving it to you."
Raising his hand, Leonis moved his fingers through his well kept hair. Admiring Alec's attempt at hiding his anger. Surely the man knew that what ever Leonis wanted, he usually got? Although, there was no time to contemplate on this, as without so much as a warning, Alec pounced.
A blade, one Leonis was familiar with sliced into the arm he used to block off the sudden attack. While using his other arm to swiftly push Alec back. His fingers expertly finding his neck. Leonis wasn't prepared, and it showed. Although, he had managed to have Alec pushed against the wall, using his arm and elbow. While the other hand held off Alec's hand, the one with the blade.
Throughout the struggle, Leonis's hood had fallen back. His identity out for all to see. Something, he was now finding was the point to the attack. Chuckling lightly, Leonis smiled crookedly. Revealing teeth, that were tinged a slight yellow from the abuse they received in prison. His bright blue eyes shinning wickedly at Alec.
"Even after all these years, you have not changed. Still manipulating situations to suit yourself Alec." Leonis's lips moved, his voice mocking, but there was a clear tone of respect.
"But enough of this." Leonis warned, dropping his hold on Alec, while simultaneously healing his sliced arm. He didn't want his blood staining the alley.
"I want to know where your allegiance lies." It was a demand, one that wanted a straight answer. Leonis needed this information, before he could even begin the rest of his plan. Alec may have become known as a traitor all those years back, but he was still useful. Leonis wasn't willing to give up on that.

Alec's blade loosened from his fingers, dropping loudly to the alley's ground. His face inches from the once hooded man. Dark muddy-crimson eyes stared at the face he had known to be Leonis's. The lightest blue eyes, burned intensely at him. While he scanned the scar running jaggedly from Leonis's chin, down to his neck, disappearing somewhere beneath his coat. Alec knew who he was dealing with, but Leonis wasn't the same person.
No mere human could hold him against a wall unwillingly. His strength wouldn't allow it. It begged the question, what was Leonis? He was human, sure. But what had he done to himself, to make him almost on par with a vampire? That was something Alec would find out, eventually. He was sure Leonis wasn't about to tell him.
Showing his teeth in a grin at his words, Alec was surprised he was let go. His eyes following Leonis's display of magic, as he healed his injured arm. Noticing how it didn't even seem to bother the man.
"My allegiance is to myself, always has been, Leonis." Alec replied. Giving Leonis a pointed look, lined with the hinted tone of amusement. An odd question, Leonis would have already knew that, should of. With that thought, Alec stepped to the side. With more caution then he normally gave a human.
"... But you already know that. Which makes me wonder, what you're planning." Alec added, moving around Leonis, pondering on his next words.
"I know you're not here for your daughter. I must admit, it's what I first assumed, but she still doesn't even know you're alive. Why would a father do that to their child?" Alec queried, still slowly moving.
"Unless you believe you can keep her safe?" Alec stopped, now facing Leonis, eyes leveled. It still didn't make must sense. But then again, neither did this whole situation.

Leonis shifted his head, taking more care in keeping Alec within his sights. After the little display, he was sure Alec caught onto the fact he could handle himself, no matter if Alec happened to be a vampire. But Leonis was still human, and therefore able to suffer from wounds, if he didn't heal himself, or get medical attention. He hadn't wanted to make himself immortal, or even a vampire. What use was there for that? Leonis saw none. Even when his wife had offered.
It's what men, like Alec, prided themselves over, being a vampire. Although, Leonis hoped Alec did see, that humans in this world, held the greater majority, if he didn't see that now, then he would. Leonis would make sure of it.
Tugging at the cuffs of his coat. Leonis eyed Alec, without the amusement, Alec currently held. A sigh, leaving his mouth, as if he was bored. Alec may think, he had the upper hand. Talking about his daughter, as if that would bring some vulnerability to the surface. It wouldn't. Isabella was more than capable of taking care of herself. If not, then Loki, would. As his dear wife instructed her too. Or even Azareal would take up the mantle if anything were too happen to Loki. It was that simple. Clearly, Alec hadn't done his homework.
"You should keep that tongue on a leash, Alec. Least it be ripped from that pathetic mouth of yours." Leonis all but growled at Alec. Yet his face remained impassive.
"There are things at play, some you should know, if you want to remain alive." A smirk formed, as Leonis's words danced from his mouth. "You hunt those you once called family. Have killed friends, just to appease your own tainted heart. You seek nothing but pain, upon yourself and others." Leonis stepped back. Adding space between them. A twisted smile gripping the corner of his lips.
"They all want you dead now. To quench their own vengeance. Don't you see, you have nothing left." The words slipped out with delicate force. Adding to the intense atmosphere.
"Offer your allegiance to me. Therefore your complete loyalty to me, 'Lord Black', and I will see fit you survive."
Piercing Alec with knowing blues eyes, more bright than the moon, Leonis tilted his head back. With arrogance, that blended in smoothly with the cold darkness weaving around him. While he held out a hand, riddled with the glow of dark magic.
