Post by Leōnis Achenar Black on Oct 5, 2010 20:01:40 GMT 10
General Information:
Given Names: Leōnis Achenar
Last Name: Black
Blood Type: Pureblood
Nationality: 2/4 British, 1/4 Italian 1/4 French
Birth place: BritainAppearance:
Eyes:
Unlike the usual odd array of inky black and the darkest brown colour that the Black's are known to possess, Leōnis has vivid erye light blue eyes that surround the pupil. His eyes have been known to darken in colour. Although, naturally being a Black, they tend to appear cold, merciless and unforgiving. His eyelashes are rather thick and long, therefore extending the almost allure feel he may possess. All in all, his eyes hold a haunted shadow he can't seem to escape.
Hair:
Dark slightly wavy brown, to a light brown. Leōnis usually has it cut to a medium length. Keeping it under control, and smooth.
Height:
About 6ft5
General Appearance:
Scars run all over Leōnis's sun kissed skin. One extremely obvious such scar runs down from the tip of his neck to the bottom of his chest, jagged in some places, but it is still clear to see someone had very nearly succeeded in killing him. Leōnis workouts and exercises a lot, to keep control of his rather erratic mind and emotions. This leads to him having a built, but not overly so, body. He likes to keep himself looking sharp and clean.
There is one tattoo on his entire body, located on the inside of his left arm. The skin beneath appearing a starkly white against the magical tattoo. A skull of terrible beauty, being surround by a serpent, seemingly, ready to pounce. A tattoo that tells of a thousand horrors. This tattoo is the mark of a Death Eater. Although, it is littered with scars, as if someone had wanted to cover it up, or remove it forcefully with a dagger.
Dressing Style:
Leōnis shows elegance in all he wears, representing the power he has and controls. He wears the finest in silk clothing, and in whatever style he chooses. He could be wearing rags for all the world to see, but somehow, he would pull it off, appearing to wear them as if they were gold. He likes to show off how much better he is than everyone else, with the clothes he wears. Especially since he is a pureblood. Intimidation and power go along nicely with his arrogance. That is what his clothes shout out.Personality:
Proud Pureblood. He stands by the very oldest of traditions, being breed to be this way his whole young life. Leōnis always knows that no matter what he is doing, it's for the pureblood cause. One that many believe to be outdated and trivial. All sense is otherwise thrown out the window, when it comes to this. To Leōnis, he holds everything about being a pureblood in high regard. Yet don't mistake this to blind devotion, Leōnis can be negotiated with, if you find him in the right mood.
Arrogant & Cold. The air that surrounds him may give off a chill, simply because of the way Leōnis makes himself appear. He doesn't show an ounce of, well, anything that could tell you what he is thinking, or feeling. Simply because Leōnis doesn't 'feel' much of anything, since half his soul was sucked out of him. When he does show emotion, it's blow up to an incredible proportion, as if he can't quite control himself, which in most cases, he can't.
Leōnis is always honest, some would go as far as saying brutally honest. Most people don't really want to hear the honest truth, and this makes him appear cold. As he has no regard, it would seem, for their emotions on the matter. All he knows is that if they don't like the truth, it's not his problem.
Often, Leōnis would assume everyone wants to be on his side, as he is far superior than they are. This leads him to be shown as arrogant. He also believes nothing can stand in the way of his goals, and if anything does he has the power, or resources to stop it.
Mischievous & Playful. A side that is rarely seen, and known. Leōnis holds this side of him in a very dark place. Yet even so, he likes to play with his enemies, like a game of 'cat and mouse', he will give them a chance of proving themselves worthy, before deciding to kill them.
Sometimes when the opportunity arises , he would throw around remarks that would seem utterly humorous to him, yet anything but too others. Even if he is in the mist of battle. And he usually doesn't like jokes, at all.
Brutal & To The Point. Leōnis usually likes doing his own dirty work, rather than making someone else do it. He prefers brute force, then any other way. Yet makes sure fear isn't a factor in why someone would be on his side. He likes to get straight to the point, mostly because he doesn't like wasting time. This meaning that, he isn't usually charming his way through a fight or disagreement. He just doesn't care for it.

Background Story:
Childhood Years:
Leōnis was born into a prestige family, the 'Black Family'. As so, he learned quickly to hate everything and anything that was anyway 'muggle'. He was taught to uphold pureblood tradition, from the first day he was able to walk. He never once did anything that would make his family frown at him. He did his best to keep his families pride and pureness. He got so use to doing this, he did it without thought.
He learned so well, that it wasn't any wonder that he was introduced to the dark arts at a young age. He was always monitored of course, as he showed great skill in would seem, in anything he showed interest in. At the time, for Leōnis, just making his parents proud of him is all he aimed for.
Early Teenage Years:
Sure enough, Leōnis grew to be an ambitious young boy. He worked hard to be perfect in everything, even if that meant walking a thin line between the dark arts and his health. He was unusual in the aspect that he was a Slytherin and he didn't mind the company of those his parents thought 'beneath them' or those that he would later find out were vampires, and werewolves. Although, he made sure his parents never found out. It would make things complicated, and Leōnis hated complicated.
Sure enough, he gained friends. The nickname 'Leo'. And a notorious reputation of being a slytherin with a heart. As he wouldn't care about who he hanged with. Yet all through this he still held strongly onto the belief that purebloods were and would always be superior.
Teenage Years
Without a doubt, Leōnis become a smart, yet overly ambitious young man. He chose at this point in his life, to view things more from his fathers perspective, which left little else but sheer devotion for all things powerful and pure. Those of his friends that were loyal stayed, while many left, disbelieving that someone who had the potential for such kindness and strength, would show them utter hatred.
It was because of this action, that Leonis was held at wand point, unexpectedly one afternoon. He didn't have time to evade the slashing curse, as it cut the tip of his neck all the way down to the bottom of his chest. He was outnumbered, and so utterly pissed off, he ended up using an unforgivable. The Cruciatus curse. Luckily, he fainted because of blood loss, or he didn't think he would of been able to stop.
For the most part, Leōnis was doing what his parents wanted of him. To be a successful pureblood. Everything came second to that. And Leōnis didn't mind at all. After all, he had learned everything from them.
Although, this all began to change, when Leōnis started to fall for a women. A women who was a vampire.
Late Teenage Years:
Having spend a huge amount time with his vampire companion, and soon to be wife. Leōnis started to see that not all the things his parents told him, were entirely true.
Even so, it was with this in mind, that Leōnis joined the Death Eaters. He was ambitious, and as such wanted to help with the Dark Lord's plan. As well as becoming more powerful himself. He also wanted to change the Death Eaters from the inside out. Make their beliefs stand for something other than bloodshed and fear. Leōnis wanted the world to see how when everyone was united, the world could be a better place for all, creatures and humans, equally.
It was during this time he married. Surprising his parents, but more surprised that they accepted. His wife became someone he could confine in. Someone he needed, as he didn't know love quite as powerful as he felt with her. He didn't want a life without her.
So, being married Leōnis was quite a happy man. He finished school successfully. Acquiring a job in the D.O.M as an Unspeakable. He used this job to report back to his Lord, without people getting suspicious of his activities.
Early Adult Years:
Leōnis was introduced into his wife's clan, as he was informed that she was pregnant. By this time, he was currently on an assignment, to make negotiations with the Vampires. To strike a deal with them, make them see the Dark Lord's Cause was worth siding with him.
It was a few months later that his wife gave birth to his daughter, Isabella Scarlet Black. The first half-vampire Black. Even with his growing desire to be completely loyal to the Cause, Leōnis kept her a secret from the Death Eaters. He was unsure of what would become of her if she were to be discovered.
Yet, unknowingly, the more he went back to the Death Eaters, the more his mind was changing. Making him believe more, and more, that their cause was a noble one, that one day all the terror would add up to something wonderful. That it didn't matter about the means, all that mattered was the end result.
It was during the time his wife's Clan was at war, that the Dark Lord found out about his daughter. And ordered for her to be brought in. Torn between love for his wife and his overwhelming admiration and loyalty for the Dark Lord, Leōnis was starting to break. His daughter was to become a member of the Death Eaters once she had hit the right age. For she would make a strong attribution to the cause.
It was understandable that his wife didn't tell him she had fallen pregnant again. She chose instead to give birth and send their son far away. Only visiting when she could.
Throughout the years, Leōnis's change by the Death Eaters was noticeable. He was but a shadow of his old self. His wife saw this, but never commented. As far as she was concerned it was none of her business. Their love was stronger.
It was while Isabella was 7, the clan become yet again under attack. Already weakened by the last war, the clan could not withstand such chaos. Leōnis's wife was killed by an elite group of savage hunters, while he barely had time to save his daughter from the magical fire that had threatened to devour her.
His life in ruins, Leōnis sent his daughter, Isabella, off somewhere he knew she'll grow up safe. Away from war, away from hunters. - Her mother's relatives.
With that done, Leōnis let his rage engulf his entire being. Finding the ones responsible for the death of his wife. It was while torturing vampires, wizards, hunters and muggles, Leōnis was caught by Aurors. A broken man.
Being a Death Eater was all they needed to charge him, Leōnis's life was over. He was found guilty of his crimes, and sentenced to the Kiss. Although, something happened while he was given the kiss. Leōnis only lost part of his soul, a broken shard. His body was left to rot in Azkaban for the rest of it's life.
Adult Years:
Two years passed for Leōnis. His sense of self, sense of being reduced to practically nothing. It was while in Azkaban that he tried to rip apart the Dark Mark on his skin, in a haze of insanity. Using anything to somehow get rid of it. Being unsuccessful in his attempts. His mind, throughout it all started to heal, growing stronger.
With this, he gathered strength. And with the help of some vampire friends, he eventually broke free.
Ever since, he has been training, and traveling the world. He got informed that his Lord had been killed, while talking to Death Eaters of old. And that most Death Eaters have either disappeared, went into hiding or are dead. Disappointed by the news, Leōnis swore he would do what ever it took to achieve his Master's goals. To recreate Britain.
It was within that train of thought, that Leōnis remembered his daughter, Isabella.
Present:
After many years away, Leonis returned to London. Acquiring a job at the D.O.M, as an Unspeakable. Having remembered that he could easily fit back into that type of job. Then finding Swan Manor just the way he saw it last. Having lived their with his wife all those years ago. Even with his soul in tatters, Leonis's ambition is as high as ever. Knuckles pounded into flesh. The pasty skin turning red on impact, every time. There was already a blue and pink hue forming, splattering out into the cruel markings of a bruise. Looking sickly and utterly painful to touch. Yet that is what he did, his knuckle swinging in the familiar pattern. The once clear skin, becoming broken and bloody.
"Would you care to clarify why you thought it such a great idea, again?" His voice thick with intense anger, one that promised many more beatings. Many more split skin, blood and pain.
No more words were spoken, as he continued to beat the man to, it would seem, his death. His light blue eyes, held a spark of crazed delight. Never leaving the sight of his uncontrolled rage. Rage that he hadn't felt for years.
All too soon, the damage he was dealing, healed. The bloodsucker having being lucky he wasn't human, for Leonis was sure he would kill him with his anger. Something he hadn't done in a long time.
One thing was for sure though, he had surprised the vampire with his strength, one thing he wasn't going to give away. Not to this scum. Not to anyone. He also knew, that it wasn't just his strength that surprised him.
"Enlighten me, Alec," Leonis spoke, bored with playing. His eyes penetrating Alec's with enough force that could possibly give him a migraine.
"Where is my daughter?"
