Isabella sat. Her face perfectly emotionless, her dark violet eye's hidden behind the daily prophet. While her brown hair flowed around her head. It was a wonder, what she could be so enthralled by, to ignore all else around her. Making no movement, no attempt to gather food onto her empty plate behind the paper. It wasn't like this was unusual. Isabella did belong in Ravenclaw, a house known for there silence during meals. Heads in books, and a rather neutral regard for the other houses around them. What couldn't be seen though, unless someone was paying particular attention, was the way she would tighten her hold even so lightly around the papers edge. With a tiny frown forming between her eyebrows. The way her lower lip would twitch, as if she were saddened by whatever she was reading. If someone could read her aura, they would find waves of guilt. Brought on by what ever she was reading.
To make matter's more intriguing, she couldn't even remain still. She was finding it increasingly difficult to pretend nothing had occurred for the last two mouths of her life. No one else seemed to have noticed she was gone. Only Danny, only Loki, only Lanor, Evie, Kaiden. But they were gone. Evie and Lanor. Those two people she had managed to make friends with, she had watched die. And now, here she was, back at Hogwarts. As if nothing had happened, trying to live on. Or something like that... But the article staring right at her, reminded her clearly of where she had been, what she had gone through. The memories would never fade. All of it was there, printed in ink. The only thing missing from the article was their names. It was because of this, Isabella was grateful. It would not go down well for any of them if their names had been in there. Not for Danny, not for Loki, and especially not for her.
Putting the paper down, Isabella let her eyes fall. Finding the table remarkably interesting, than listening to all the laughter, to gaze upon all the smiles. It sickened her, to a point she couldn't quite remember the reason of why she had come back. She could easily tear apart anyone if she lost control. Quickly blinking that thought away, Isabella cast her eyes onto the one book that had possibly kept her sane these long weeks. Her black, rune protected, necromancy book. A magical art that would help her get back her dead friends. If only temporarily. She didn't care if anyone found that just a tad dark.
One thing though, was clear within the twisted chaos that was Isabella's mind, she was totally and utterly unstable. She didn't even turn her head, as she felt someone taking a seat next to her. Isabella just didn't bother to care. It made walking away in the end, more difficult, than it needed to be.

Sakku bowed his head, his deep-brown eyes set on the floor. He disliked mealtimes, and only attended to keep up appearences. Usually he would sit on his own. Keep to himself. Stay unnoticed. The only reason he would be driven to sit near another today was because the table was full, with no place for him to hide away.
With a silent sigh on his lips, he had taken up near someone who he was sure would leave him be. She was reading, and on her own. From the look on her face she wasn't one to talk, not now in any case.
He watched her hesitantly as he sat. Waiting for some sort of reaction to his presence. When he avoked none, he almost smiled. It wasn't that Sakku didn't like people, he was just painfully shy. Conversations were usually unnecessary, he wouldn't speak unless spoken to. He was never rude, either. He just talked as little as he needed to, and eventually people would leave him alone.
Sakku glanced along the table, his eyes quickly scanning either way to make sure no-one was looking at him. Reassured, he piled his plate with food that his bony frame needed, but he would not eat. He simply sat the plate before him and picked up an old, dog-earred book. This was his routine for every meal, except for fridays. Fridays he would eat a little of whatever was there, and only then submerge himself in literature. Sakku barely thought about the girl beside him as he ran on automatic, following his routine flawlessly

The only time Isabella made an attempt at noticing the person next to her, was when they started moving food to their plate. She had turned her violet-rimmed red eyes onto the person. Only then finding it to be a boy. Moving her arms, Isabella placed the paper down. Her finger's slightly shaking, deciding to hide them under the table. Isabella found that the new heart beat beside her, did nothing to stop them.
She had chosen this far, against the wall to avoid anyone from coming near her. So she could not be seen, heard or talked about. She didn't exactly look healthy, probably looked sick to human eyes. Made her look more dead than before. Though it was the presence of a human, that she wasn't quite sure she could deal with just yet. Especially now, as he sat there, acting all innocent, trying to be silent. Made something in Isabella rise up and want to react. She could hear every move he made. The russel of his clothes, the little ding of food. Even the noises he probably didn't even know he could make, Isabella could hear.
And all of it irritated her. Making her little nose crunch up along with it.
Even his little book irritated her. Making her want to rip his heart apart a thousand times, because he was here, and they were not.
Shuttering, Isabella turned her eyes back and closed them. Knowing she needed to calm down, before she did damage. She really couldn't afford to do any. Not so soon. She would come across as a lunatic. And she needed to remain calm, collected. She was a Black after all. She needed to do this, for herself and Danny.
But it was just so hard.

The look the girl gave him was something he felt rather than saw, and it made him uneasy. He felt an inexplicable shiver travel down his spine. He didn't want to bother her. He didn't want to bother anyone, really.
He turned another page in the tattered novel, his attention only half focused on the almost-poetic words now. He decided silently that he would wait a few minutes, and if he still appeared to be bothering her then he would leave. It wouldn't hurt him to deviate from his routine just a small amount. besides, he could always go to the common room and read.
Satisfied with the path his thoughts had taken, he pried his thoughts away from the girl beside him and tried to focus his attention in its entirety on the book in his hands.

Suddenly, Isabella tilted her head. Narrowing her eyes, as she blinked back the confusion from sliding onto her face. The confusion arose anyway, as the great hall's walls seemed to close around her. Then after letting her hands slip to around her temples, Isabella gasped. It was starting to get painful to draw breath, even if she hardly needed to, it felt like someone was choking her from the inside. Pushing little knives through her thoughts, through her lungs, through everything that she was. Curling her fingers around her head, Isabella knew that whatever she was seeing and feeling was purely mental. A side affect of being locked up in a cell for so long. Then being thrust into the open world again, like she would be able to adapt that quickly.
There had been a chance that it wouldn't affect her at all, that she'd be able to rejoin society the same as she was. Although, it didn't seem she had that kind of mentality. The great hall was much too big for that 'first step', Isabella knew she had been asking for an episode to occur, as the doctor liked to call them. Isabella herself had not really prepared herself for anything, she didn't see the point, other than the fact it was tiring on her mental state of mind.
Realizing she had her hands around her head, as if she were in pain. Isabella quickly removed them. Eying the walls around her with suspicion, before placing her hands flat on the table. In front of her empty plate. Breathing unevenly, as she tried to regain whatever control she had, had. For she was sure she was about two seconds from running out, uncaring to who saw her.
"Is that any good" Isabella's voice was like soft silk, warm and yet still cool against your skin. Despite her utter lack of real care, Isabella aimed her reddish-violet eyes onto the tattered book in the boys hand's, before resting them on the boy. Hoping to find some sort of distraction away from the thought's swirling in her mind.

Sakku's breath hitched in his throat. He had to cough before he could form any reply to the girl. "Yes" He said softly, flipping the volume so that the cover faced toward her. In simple yellow lettering, the cover read 'Lens of the World'.
Sakku eyed the girl cautiously. It was unusual for anyone to pay him any attention. He went deliberately out of his way so they wouldn't. But obviously he wasn't annoying this girl, was he?
No, she was talking to him. Odd. But perhaps, he could talk to her? It had been a while, really, since he had had a conversation with anyone.

Isabella was quick to examine the book. A familiar cover to that of a book Lelouch had once been reading. Lelouch had recommended she read it, but she hadn't had a chance to. Barely able to get past page 10. Never mind the fact she hardly remembered what it was about. Funny, she was in Ravenclaw, and yet she couldn't finish a muggle fiction book.
Letting her eyes settled back on the boy, Isabella wondered how she could ever get back into being a student. Being like this boy was, as she had been like. He appeared to know how to stay mostly out of peoples sight, if where he choose to sit was any indication. Did he once sit where she had been, when she was living in a cell? Or was her seat left untouched, just as her bed had been? So many questions, while useless, Isabella wanted to know if her lack of presence caused anyone to wonder. Although, she had played the game of remaining invisible. Perhaps she had done so, a little too well.
No matter. Isabella knew how to get back into the life that had once been easy. She just had to give her housemates the knowledge that she was there. Starting with this boy. He seemed so much like she had been, Isabella saw no reason why she couldn't befriend him. After all, she needed someone who wasn't so involved with her life. The boy fit perfectly.
"You don't talk much, do you?" It was more of observation, then a question. As Isabella flicked away a strand of her loose dark hair. Ravenclaw's usually didn't, they preferred books, although some tendered to be knowledgeable socially.
"I'm Isabella by the way." As she introduced herself, Isabella held out her hand. It was already laced with a charm. To make it appear warmer. Isabella hadn't forgotten all the tricks.

Sakku gently put his book down on the table, his finger marking the page that he was reading. He turned his head to the girl, eyes glittering nervously over prominent cheek bones.
"It's a habit" Sakku murmured softly, not intending to be heard.
Sakku hesitated, before reaching out to shake her hand. "Sakku" he said, finally accepting her gesture, then dropping his hand quickly and hiding it in his lap.

Isabella was fighting the urge to smile. Not that it would of been bad too, just that it would of felt extremely foreign on her face. The reason though, was that this boy reminded her of Danny when he use to get shy, and at times when his nervousness ruled him. It brought forth an emotion Isabella recalled as nostalgia. A longing for something she knew she would never have again. And that made it all the more hard to remain seated. How was she to make friends? When he reminded her, cruelly, so much of the past?
Inhaling, Isabella took her eyes off him. Trying to remember his name, it was rather odd. She didn't think she would forget. The other thing the boy seemed weird with was physical contact. If she hadn't know better, she would of thought him one of her kind. Or at least up to something.
"Sakku? It sounds almost Japanese. Do you know what it means?" Isabella asked, actually interested. She wondered why the guy acted like he did, and where he came from may possibly answer this. Plus distraction from her thoughts was always a plus.

A flicker of a frown passed across Sakku's pale lips, making them a thin line. 'The origins of my name are as much a mystery to me as they are to you', he said in his almost-a-whisper tone.
The boy with bones too big for his skin always spoke as if he raised his voice, it would bring about the end of the world. He flinched from loud noises and sudden movement, like those too-big bones were made from spun glass. On a matter such as his origins, it seemed doubly true that if he spoke loud enough, he would destroy himself.
He could never quite figuire out where he came from.

It was a sort of longing that took hold of Isabella the more she talked with the boy. Hope bubbling beneath the surface of her carefully carved facade. Things that normally would of went unnoticed by her peers about the boy, didn't to her. They way he would talk, as if he didn't really expect to be listened too, or the way he would seem to cower into himself. Ready to disappear. Peering intently at him, Isabella just watched as he spoke. Or moved, or breathed. Drinking him in, like she would prey.
Yet, he was not. The hope that was building was something Isabella should of destroyed, not welcome. But she couldn't help it. Sakku was something she couldn't quite explain.
"I suppose it doesn't matter, if you have gone this long without knowing." Isabella declared, all without blinking. Forgetting the fact that she was meant to 'act' human.
